Recirculate showcases the diverse strategies that Australian artists are using to create art in sustainable ways.
In this group exhibition 18 professional creatives present large scale digital prints, paintings, sculptures, drawings, jewellery and textile pieces made using second-hand, recycled and/or re-used materials.
Recirculate features works by: Linda Brescia, Peter Burgess, Tracey Clement, Rox De Luca, Adrienne Doig, Anna Dunnil, Nicholas Folland, Kath Fries, Agnieszka Golda, Locust Jones, Bridget Kennedy (+ Anna Davern, Sian Edwards, Jill Hermans, Melinda Young & Regina Krawets), Ben Quilty, Lucienne Rickard, and Lachlan Warner.
To highlight the urgency of re-using and using less, the show is presented in conjunction with international Buy Nothing Day.

Create contemporary jewellery designs using both precious and non-precious materials with the option to explore different processes and finishes such as liquid enamel, stamping and patination throughout the term. Remade-Reloved – Costume Jewellery Rehash
Location: Australian Design Centre, 101-115 William St, Darlinghurst NSW 2010
Date/Time: Saturday 12th October, 2024 1:30 – 3:30pm
Bridget will guide you through the process of upcycling and repurposing old costume jewellery pieces to craft earrings, a bracelet or neckpiece. Suitable for beginners, all materials will be supplied or participants can bring their own pieces to remake.
