Ashleigh Moore is a Sydney based contemporary jeweller.

Her move into the jewellery industry was by accident. After enrolling in a wax-carving class to gain a new hobby, her passion for design was undeniable and within a few weeks Ashleigh found herself enrolling in full-time study.

With a focus on unique textures, simple shapes and hidden details, Ashleigh’s work highlights her interest in the purity of raw metal forms combined with a strong conceptual outlook.

‘COSMOS’ brings together multiple disciplines to examine the human fascination with astronomy (the physical) and astrology (the metaphysical). Combining both photography and metalsmithing skills, She has created a body of work that uses the milky way to engage with audiences and cause them to contemplate both our place in the world and the beauty of the stars.

Since completing her studies, Ashleigh has established her studio on Sydney’s Northern Beaches and shown work at the 18. Silver Triennial International.
