X-series long-line earring – Pear – by South Australian jeweller Rachael Grigulis.

Modern geometric long line articulated earrings. Blackened reverse pear shapes with polished accents sit perfectly weighted on high polished articulated bars for a moderrn, sophisticated yet edgey silver earring.

Earring length= 77mm, width= 13mm

Rachael’s work reflects her love of architecture, art deco forms, Japanese minimalism, and a fascination for how things work and fit together. She refers to her making process as design and construction, using traditional handmade techniques to construct contemporary works that are tactile and unique, incorporating clean lines and contrasting materials.

After graduating with a Bachelor of Design in Jewellery & Metalsmithing from University of South Australia in 1992 she had her work acquired by The Art Gallery of SA. She then resided in Japan for 6 years whilst still exhibiting both here and internationally before returning eventually to Adelaide where she continues to develop and explore her passion for contemporary metal.
