Description
Ever wanted to learn how to make your own jewellery? Or want to spend some time honing up your skills?
Join me on Tuesdays from 10-3pm at The Willoughby Arts Centre for this fun group class. Work at your own pace to create contemporary jewellery designs using both precious and non-precious materials with the option to explore different processes and finishes such as roller printing, stamping and patination throughout the term. Working at your own pace, I’ll help you make your ideas a reality!
This is a longer 5 hour class which gives you time to really become engrossed in the creative making process. There’s the option to learn new processes such as reticulation, roller printing, texturing, forming hollow forms, develop soldering techniques and more.
Suitable for both absolute beginners and more advanced students. Usually, the first project for beginners is to make a silver ring, but we can always start with earrings, a pendant or even a bangle. There are so many options!
Check out the Willoughby Arts Centre Website for term dates.
