Description
Ever wanted to learn how to make your own jewellery?
Join me on Wednesday mornings at The Willoughby Arts Centre for this fun group class. Work at your own pace to create contemporary jewellery designs using both precious and non-precious materials with the option to explore different processes and finishes such as roller printing, stamping and patination throughout the term. Working at your own pace, I’ll help you make your ideas a reality!
In the afternoon class, we also have the optioning of trying out kiln-fired liquid enamel.
Additionally, there’s the option in this class to learn the processes of remelting your old unloved silver into ingots to be used to create new work.
Suitable for both absolute beginners and more advanced students. Usually, the first project for beginners is to make a silver ring, but we can always start with earrings, a pendant or even a bangle. There are so many options!
Check out the Willoughby Arts Centre Website for term dates.
