Correspondence used for the artwork ‘Many Hands: A year of exchanges and stories’

Hi Susie,

Finally getting on to this project!! So much admin to catch up on….Luckily it’s a but quiet in the gallery. Thanks for being a part of the artwork. You choose 316:9480, which equates to 5h and 16 min which you chose to exchange for part cash and part-time. $120 cash for 3 hours at $40 per hour,  and 2 hrs and :16 minutes of flower time.

I’ll need you to take a pic of your hands doing the exchange process – putting together the flowers (see attached example of Szilvia Gyorgy) and then another pic once the exchange has completed – of you holding your object (see Michaels hands attached). These exchanges and cash exchanges will be documented and displayed in another exhibition at the end of 2018, as well as in a small book noting what each object was exchanged for. Any cash that has been exchanged will be cut up and made into one more basket and also displayed in the show. Look forward to my flowers and the pics. Also, my opening hours have changed now – opening Wed to Sat instead of Tue to Sat.
