‘Water Content’. An exhibition of photography by Ross Buchanan. 8th September to 27th September 2009.

“Water provides a medium for an infinite variety of reflection, enhancement or attenuation of natural and artificial light. These photographs were not consciously planned as a themed collection; but the attraction to me of photographing water in the landscape (or sometimes land in the waterscape) was obvious when I found how many of my photos have water as the principal element or, when a secondary element, it is used to highlight, light or distinguish the principal element”.
