I’m excited to be part of PROJECT 2060: HOMEWARD BOUND, a major Arts & Culture North Sydney initiative exhibiting works by 150 artists across five Council areas.
My work, HOMEBOUND – The Things That Kept Me Safe, is on at the Coal Loader Centre for Sustainability (Tunnel 1, Chamber 5), 2 Balls Head Drive, Waverton, 10 – 21 March 2021
An installation of objects sourced from home, exploring absence, anxiety and the meaning of things. Includes two works hand embroidered with snippets of text from conversations overheard by the artist during 2020.
In other news, Contemporary Jewellery and gardening come together on National TV – My Garden and studio, my two happy places, was shown on ABC’s Gardening Australia on March 5th.
And, The Sydney Edible Garden Trail (one of my passion projects) is nearly here! There’s some great giveaway prizes on offer for ticketholders. Grab your ticket now! I’ll be opening up the garden (where I spend quiet time replenishing and re-energising) for the Physical Edible Garden Trail 20-21 March. Come along and say hi!
