Artist Bio
Linda studied Jewellery and Object Design and Jewellery Manufacturing at the Design Centre Enmore. Her practice has largely been based around enamelled jewellery and small-scale sculptural objects based on history or the natural world. After recently undertaking wood carving and surface finishing courses, she has incorporated these techniques into her work.
Artist Statement
In these pieces, I was interested in how wood can be reworked to change the shape of the individual elements and, with the addition of colour and individual finishes, change the original pieces entirely.
