ARTIST CALLOUT – The Projectspace Plinth Activation

Call for Artists! – small works, big visibility! A 6-month rotating micro-exhibition program.

Seeking contemporary art jewellery, small sculptural and 3D object-based work from artists with an established practice. Located outside Lane Cove Library (483k+ visits annually) and opposite Gallery Lane Cove.

This is a rare chance to test ideas, share work publicly, and connect with a broad audience, including exposure to Gallery Lane Cove, in a highly visible civic location.

This is a curated, independent initiative, designed to support experimentation, visibility and connection within the contemporary art jewellery and 3D object art community.

It will suit work made from materials that would not traditionally be considered precious, noting that the space is not climate-controlled and that, while weather-protected and locked, some condensation and environmental exposure may occur.

Starting May 1st, with 2-4 exhibition periods.

Work should be:
– visually engaging
– conceptually resolved, high-quality workmanship
– suitable for outdoor display (display area 55 × 55 × 59 cm)

This is a curated program. Shortlisted artists will be provided with full details and participation terms.
