This coming Wednesday 17 October 2012 – 5:30pm for refreshments and an after hours stroll through the Galleries
6.30pm start -A FREE EVENT PRESENTED BY 2 DANKS STREET
The panel:
Francesca Valmorbida – Director, Sydney Contemporary Art Fair
Barry Keldoulis – Director GBK, Sydney and board member Melbourne Art Foundation
Lisa Paulsen – Passionate collector

Venue:  Dominik Mersch Gallery, 2 Danks Street, Waterloo

A deliberately provocative subject, the panel will be asked to put forward their views on, ‘Are Art Fairs Good for Collectors?’. The biennial Melbourne Art Fair is one of the oldest Art Fairs in the world, however in a recent development, it will be joined by a new, up-market fair in Sydney, the Sydney Contemporary.
Always entertaining, Christopher Hodges will again be directing the Conversation to discuss the value and opportunities for collectors presented by Art Fairs. There will be an open floor discussion at the end of the evening, when we will invite questions from the audience.
At the conclusion of this lively debate, the Danks Street Depot is offering a special menu,  2 courses for $45. Bookings for the dinner are essential, contact 9698 2201 or email enquiry@danksstreetdepot.com.au.
Plenty of street parking available, but
SEATS ARE LIMITED – COME EARLY!
