What’s the cost of the Gold Wedding Ring Workshop?
Workshop booking fee $1020 PLUS ring fee (variable on metal, ring size etc)
What’s included in the workshop booking fee?
- Free consultation prior
- Exclusive attention and private use of the studio workshop.
- Documentation of the day. Photos and video will be taken of your special day and the process of you making your rings so you can share with family and friends.
Lunch is provided. And generally some produce from our home garden is included. Special dietary needs can be catered for. - There are also coffee shops just up the road, so feel free to grab a coffee on the way to the workshop!
- Ring boxes to nicely display your rings but, hey, it’s ok to wear them at home too.
Workshops are available both weekdays and weekends.

The workshops are generally 6 hours, sometimes a little longer. Rest assured, you won’t go home without your finished rings!

What style of rings can we make?
The styles are classic contemporary timeless designs. You can personalise with a hammered or other textured finish. You can also add stamped lettering
the rings are finished with either a brushed or polish surface.
With narrow bands, a gentle curve or slight modifications can be added to cater for some engagement ring styles.
Do I need to have prior jewellery making experience?
No prior experience is needed. I’ll be there to help you ensure your ring is successful with the process broken down into small steps with the opportunity to practice first.
How much is the gold ring fee?
The price depends on a number of variables such as:
- metal choice
- width of band
- thickness of band
- finger size
- style of the ring
- current gold market prices
It’s not possible to provide a rough quote without having this information. A personal quote can be provided during your consultation and more is known about your design choices.
As a ballpark, for a pair of rings the range is roughly between $1600 and $2800 combined. However, this can vary greatly depending on the variables.
If you have a budget to work within, I can guide you on suitable options for your budget.
Can the rings we make be resized?
A complimentary ring size is included within 12 months of your workshop.
If more metal is required to make the ring bigger, there’ll be an additional material cost.
Can gemstones be added to the rings?
Yes, small gemstones such as diamonds, rubies or sapphires can be flush or grain set into the bands following the workshop. Additional charges will apply and you’ll need to leave your rings at the workshop. Gemstones can also be added at a later date – sometimes it’s a lovely way to celebrate a wedding anniversary.
Is your workshop LGBTQI+ friendly?
Yes! All couples are welcome here! It’s an absolute honour to be a part of creating your special rings for you.
