Description
Made from sterling silver pickleforks gifted to me by my Aunt’s family. This is a one-of-a-kind sterling silver ring with an organic surface created by preparing the ring through a process called depletion gilding. Then, intense heat is applied to the metal, the interior melts, creating wrinkles and texture on the surface without losing the form. This creates a unique pattern reminiscent of a rippling landscape.
Internal diameter 17mm….but can be stretched slightly larger.
Handmade in my Sydney studio with care, character, and intention.
And if you have old jewellery you’d like to reimagine, I can potentially create something like this just for you, something new from something once-loved.
