Szilvia Gyorgy
“Jewellery as wearable ideas is a fascinating theme and opens up a universe of possibilities. The challenge is to search for a dialogue between the materials, forms and movement and shape of the human body.”
Born in Hungary, Szilvia arrived in Australia in 1989 and has studied at the Australian National University and at the National Art School. She has taken part in various group exhibitions, including Sculpture by the Sea, Sydney, and has had three solo exhibitions in Hungary.
