Bridget did a wonderful job designing a custom engagement ring for me. The process was very easy. I reached out to her online through the message page on her website, she organised a time for a consultation at her studio, we discussed design options and what aesthetic my partner looks for in jewellery. After just a few weeks the ring was ready. I'm very happy to say that my partner loved the final product. I would definitely recommend to anyone who wanting to create something truly unique for that special someone in their life.

Bridget is my expert and inspiring teacher at Willoughby Art Centre. As a complete novice, she has given me confidence, encouragement and so many new skills to make my own wonderful jewellery pieces. We made our wedding rings with Bridget, and I could not recommend her and her workshop more!! We wanted to take the gold from an old chain and turn it into our rings. After I sent a request through the website Bridget got in touch and designed a workshop that would meet all our needs, we created one ring from the gold chain (which Bridget taught us how to cut, melt and forge) and one ring from a wax cast. We had the best day in the workshop with Bridget who was so fun to work with and even cooked us a delicious lunch! Our rings turned out perfect and Bridget kept us updated with progress pics as she polished and stone set the wax cast ring. We now have the most beautiful, sentimental wedding rings! Bridget added some sparkle to a very old I signet ring I had. I was thinking of using the gold for another project but she suggested adding some small diamonds to the area where the initials would have been engraved. Brilliant and creative update.Bridget was a delight to deal with and was very reasonable in cost.

Bridget repaired a glass-winged statue of mine that I had for years, and thought could not be fixed. Bridget did such a wonderful job of reattaching the wing that had broken off, it was a seamless job. I highly recommend Bridget for all jewellery and other repairs 🙂

My fiance and I decided to make our own wedding rings, and Bridget was the ideal person to help us do that. She was kind, patient, generous with her time, and helped us to craft the perfect, unique set of wedding bands that made our wedding day even more special. Her ring making workshop is highly recommended to all those who wish to forgo a stock-standard wedding band in favour of a fun, exciting day of crafting their own unique rings. I participated in the jewellery making work shop, and had a wonderful time! Bridget is a teacher, passionate and likes to transmit her passion. In a few weeks, thanks to her patience and knowledge, I was able to make two different rings, without any experience when I arrived! And this would not have been possible without Bridget :)Moreover, the setting of the gallery is very pleasant, I spent a very good time there and I leave with two new jewels! Merci beaucoup !!

The selection of Contemporary jewellery in Bridget Kennedy's showroom is creative and fabulous. Bridget is well versed in each artists work and informative in her depiction of their practice. The studio also helped with my emergency jewellery fix (completed within half an hour) before an event. I had a wonderful time with Bridget and fellow students at the day-long jewellery making workshop. I made an impressive Silver ring and vicariously experienced the creation of other works by my class mates. Bridget was most helpful with her artistic advise and her equipment was helpful in facilitating the collective creations that the day produced. I would highly recommend anyone interesting in jewellery making to take this course when it is offered.

Bridget took a motley collection of my old gold and made me the most beautiful signet ring. She worked closely with me to design it and choose the shape and the stones. It is the most comfortable ring I have ever had and the lovely rustic, chunky gold and the scattered gems are so special and unique. It makes my heart sing every time I look at it, and I have worn it every day since I picked it up! Beautiful and sensitive design and making.

I came to Bridget with a broken silver bracelet which I had thought was beyond repair, due to its intricate linking. Oh how mistaken I was. My fiance and I attended Bridget's workshop to craft wedding rings for each other, and the experience was above and beyond our expectations! Bridget guided us through the process with professionalism, humour, and patience while holding a space for us to express our love through our creations. We found the space to be queer-friendly and completely supportive. We adore the end products, but most of all we'll treasure the memory of making them together at Bridget's studio. I HIGHLY recommend taking a ring making workshop with Bridget, especially for to-be-weds!

Today I took a damaged ring in that I'd bought from the Dank St Gallery a few years ago. Bridget remembered the ring and me, and she fixed it while I waited. I also purchased a beautiful designer ring for my wife. We also consulted on a pendant we want designed. Bridget is so accomodating, positive and creative. The gallery is lovely and well worth a visit tucked away in a nice little side street in North Sydney. Thanks Bridget, we will be back soon to start the pendant project. Neil

Bridget stocks a wide variety of creative and unique contemporary pieces as well as offering bespoke services. I have bought several pieces over the years and have also had jewellery altered and repaired. The gallery is community spirited and Bridget is a delight to deal with.

I commissioned Bridget to make an engagement ring for me to give to my boyfriend (now fiancé) and another for myself, by email from Denmark. I wanted two unique rings which captured our differing styles whilst also tying into each other.Bridget was helpful all along the journey of design, offering helpful suggestions on what could and might not work, as well as adding aspects I never would have thought of myself.I provided some old gold jewellery that I didn't wear anymore to make the rings, and let Bridget work her magic. The end result is outstanding! Due to Covid-19 aside from the one meeting in the gallery to deliver the gold, I sadly didn't get the chance to travel to Australia anymore during the process. Despite this Bridget delivered two rings which not only fit us, but capture our unique styles. We've been constantly getting compliments on the rings from everyone who sees them.Bridget was a pleasure to do business with, and she was so accommodating with the chaos caused by Covid-19. She was helpful in arranging international shipping, and made sure the packaging was secure but as compact as possible to avoid too high fees.I'd highly recommend everyone to visit the gallery when you have a chance. And if you are looking for a unique, stunning and beautiful piece of jewellery made especially for you, get in touch with Bridget!

I visited Bridget at the Project Space for a Jewellery Repair Cafe. I hadn't visited Bridget's gallery since Danks St. I am as impressed now as I was then. I think that this Gallery space is much more conducive to the display of all the beautiful work housed within.Bridget is such a delightful, warm and generous person. Thank you, Bridget, I enjoyed the Repair Cafe and the viewing all the exciting jewellery so very much.
