Make memories together as you discover your creativity under the guidance of a professional teacher. You’ll be guided step by step to ensure your rings are of the highest professional quality. On completion of the workshop you’ll leave with your own special rings and the memory of having created them together—a beautiful symbol of your partnership.
I offer three options to design and make your commitment and wedding rings together. All workshops are suitable for beginners and pricing is for One Couple.
Once you’ve made your booking, I’ll be in touch to discuss a date and time that works for you!
Option 1: A shorter wax carving workshop (2.5 hours). Feel like something more relaxing? Let’s play with wax! Add textures or even your own fingerprints to the design. Using the lost wax casting method, your wax model will be cast in the precious metal of your choice and then buffed and polished to the finish you desire. Note: the price is for the workshop only. We’ll weigh your wax model to identify the weight of your chosen metal. Don’t worry, we can work within most budgets!
Option 2: A full one-day (6 hours) workshop saw piercing, texturing, and soldering rings from recycled silver (which can then be cast in gold or platinum). If you like to play with fire and get more technical with your making, then this full-day workshop could be for you. Learn how to cut, file, and texture metal before forming and soldering your handmade recycled silver ring. Then finish it off like a professional.
Option 3: A full-day workshop (6 hours), similar to option two, but working with gold. Price is dependent on a number of variables, including ring size, thickness, width and profile of the ring. Check out the FAQs for Gold Wedding Ring Workshops to find out what’s required.
